The Annual Jewels Outreach Giving Gala is a signature fundraising event hosted by Jewels Outreach & Networking, Inc., a nonprofit based in Durham, North Carolina. The gala serves to raise awareness and support for the organization’s mission to connect Durham Public Schools (DPS) families in need with essential resources. Proceeds from the event benefit programs such as Jewels Feeding Friends, which provides meals to hundreds of families each month, and initiatives supporting homeless students through the DPS McKinney-Vento Program.
Founded in 2016 by Rhonda Cozart, Jewels Outreach & Networking aims to advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves and to be a voice for the voiceless. The Annual Giving Gala brings together community members, donors, and partners to support this mission and make a tangible impact on the lives of families in need.
